Card for mom!

Hello ladies, How is the festival season going? I had fun time in Navaratri at my own place(Ahmedabad) and now back with lots of snacks and sweets for Diwali. And in between there is one more mom's birthday. I wish I was there with her today for her special day. Anyway, I made a card well in advance for her.

I have used Itsy-Bitsy vintage flower and butterfly. The are awesome. The background is online download and those glitter balls are from pie-lane.

quilled letter 'R'

Another Birthday card I made for my husband. After having a mind boggling session with my brain I decided to make this one. Sometimes it is very difficult to think of which kind of card should I make especially now after years of experience people have high expectations! I wanted to make a name plate for him but, I din't get time to make. and Finally thought to make at least the first alphabet;) lol...It took me 2 days to finish it.

I have used Itsy Bitsy paper for the background.

Teacher's day cards

A quick post to share Teacher's day card which is on tomorrow Sept 5th. After the disaster with my earlier card, I learnt to indulge my younger one in craft postively so that he'll also enjoy it and I can have a watch on him too;)

I made him doodle with different  coloured crayons and then sticked all the embellishments! Fun card!

And this one is for my elder son's teacher....ofcourse I made it;)

Thanks for visiting!

40th Birthday Card

Ever since I saw a book shaped card tute at Dr.Sonia's blog, I wanted to make one. And finally I did it and so happy with it:) This was for my friend who is an avid reader. So, it was a perfect for her:)  I've hand cut all the shapes. It was difficult to cut black paper especially in nights. And when I finished, my 2.5 year old tried his hand on craft only to make 10 pieces of the lady in left! gosh I was so annoyed and sad....but with my hubby's help I joined her back:) phew...I never imagined he could do that b'coz my elder one has never spoiled anything till now.....he never touch it without my permission till date. but, this little one is just too naughty!

Hope you like it!

I know, i's been looong time. I think I have become too lazy to write a post now. but, today I thought  It's too much now:) OK, so, first of all how are you doing? How is a summer at your part of the world? Hopefully you all are staying cool and having fun! I was busy taking summer camps. It was really HIT and kids just loved it. It went on for 2 weeks where we did so many activities each day like art/craft, pottery, non-fire cooking, splash pool, puppet show, dance.....and much more. Kids had super fun time and so their parents:) So, today's post is going to be a picture heavy post with summer camp pics and yes, I also selected in top 3 at Pie-lane contest for this card. I've also finished my first order.. It's gift bag, client wanted it to use as a hanging in her girl's room. Hope she likes it:)

Birthday invites and more!

Hello ladies! Hope you are having lovely spring/summer. I want to share a birthday invite which I made for my soon to be 2 year old boy. I tried a pull -out card this time with chota bheem theme. Everything is a print out except that 'Birthday' stamp. And the beautiful apt lines are from my sister..Thank you sis!

Here is the card I made with quilled flower. I saw it on Azlina's blog. She is a wonderful quiller! Though it was quite difficult in making....half way I thought I will not be able to finish, but finally got the knack of it!:)

These are couple of envelopes I made to get my mojo back after long break!

Hope you like it!

New Year post for New Home

Wish you all A very happy new year! May this new year brings lotta joy in your life!:)

Today I am sharing a project which I have made for craftjc challenge blog as an inspiration. I had fun making this upcycle box card project. was having this wallet box for long and when Indira gave the theme 'something new' I knew I will use this box. When I think of home so many things were running in my mind and I finally decided to make a miniature home in the box. Everything here is hand-cut except for the pie-lane border stickers and some itsy-bitsy flowers. Yes, now I am a proud owner of pie-lane products. I picked them up from Anupam in Mumbai. Thanks Tejal for guiding me there. It was like a dream come true when I was in middle of pie-lane products!

My 6 year old was having fun time watching me making this one and helped me by lending his small car to keep inside:) and also that yellow pot is the cover of his water-gun:))

And now I am eager to give this to someone.....somebody pls buy a house;)
